The Vinfast VF7 is an all-new C Segment CUV designed for global markets. Gomotiv were involved in the advanced concept development phase of the program prior to handoff to the production studio.

The concept design followed a coarse to fine process. From an initial exploration phase, many concept sketches were done to establish a range of ideas for the client to review.

These loose 2D gestural sketches were done to capture key design cues and explore the graphic possibilities of an EV and how to evolve the Vinfast brand. From these rough sketches, several themes were chosen to develop further until a final design was selected. After selection the concept design was then developed by another Vinfast partner studio into the final showcar and production design.
